The Little Queenie in deepest Grey online velvet ....

‘Little Queenie' Rock ‘n' Roll HIPPIE CHIC, Glitter Rock, Glam Rock, Velvet HAT BERET Easter Bonnet
This hat has a curious shape, somewhere between a baker's hat/Buster Brown/banded beret. It is made of semi-mat velvet fabric in a deep grey. Adorning with a gorgeous black glass button featuring a copper flower with bright silver colored leaves. Lined in a silver-colored satin, and fitted with a high quality vintage wide navy grosgrain ribbon. The hat comes with a Gorgeous Vintage Hatpin, Made in Czechoslovakia, designed by Jory. The stem for sticking is 2 5/8” (7.5cm) long. The hatpin has a beautiful globe orb, approximately ½” in diameter. The orb is surrounded by a decorative filigree, containing flowers. This hatpin is gold-plated or brass, I'm not quite sure. The stick is completely sturdy and will not bend at all, which makes it a perfect hatpin for fitting. You can leave this as it is on this hat, purely for decoration. If you want to use it for something else, just remove and smooth over the velvet holes with your thumb. The hatpin has no end, and the pointed end is sticking out, but that is fine, as long as you're careful. (Perfect for straw hats.) I am not quite sure of the age of this hatpin, but it is an antique of high quality. I believe that the hatpin is from the 1930s, by the look of the card that it came on, as determined by an expert.

The hat is 8 ½” in diameter across the top. The rise graduates from 2 ½” in the back to 4” in the front. The band is 1 ½” (where the button is).This is a couture hat, meaning it will only fit your head if you are the right size for it. This one measures at 21” (53cm). It will fit you if your head is 21” to 22 1/2”. At 22 1/2”, it will be firmly fitting but not tight. At 21”, it will be loosely fitting, but should not move around on its own. Anything outside of 21” to 22”, you will have a problem with the fit. I HAVE TWO OF THESE IN STOCK CURRENTLY, PLEASE MEASURE YOUR HEAD WITH A TAPE MEASURE .. ROUND THE TOP OVER THE EARS, SO I CAN KNOW WHICH TO SEND YOU THE SLIGHTLY LARGER OR SLIGHTLY SMALLER... THANK YOU!!
