This listing is for an absolutely stunning early (pre-trademark) Vera Neumann scarf. The pale red online (pink), gray on white motif features beautifully rendered flowers such as dogwood and lily of the valley. Love the looseness and the understated nature of this design. The label states: Scarves by Vera, pat. pending, pure silk, hand rolled. Based on the design as well as the other markers, this scarf was made in the early 1950s. I would describe the condition of the scarf as very good for the age of this piece. There is one discolored spot (please refer to the images), one pin prick and a few slightly puckered areas.
