Steiff Rabbit Pummy with button vintage sitting 10 inch online old Easter bunny made 1963 to 64 swivel head glass eyes

This very charming quite large vintage sitting Steiff rabbit is named Pummy. It online is an old German vintage Easter bunny, produced by the famous toy manufacturer Steiff in 1963 to 1964 in this edition with glass eyes only. (Later editions up to 1976 all had plastic eyes).
Vintage Steiff Pummy is the larger of the two produced versions; it measures 25 cm / 9 7/8 inches from nose to tail & also 25 cm / 9 7/8 inches front paw to ear tip.

Steiff bunny rabbit Pummy is firmly stuffed with wood wool (excelsior), has big amber glass eyes with black pupils and is made of white - brown hand brushed mohair. It has a swivel head and pink embroidered nose and wears a very funny and cute expression. Vintage Steiff rabbit Pummy even has his old Steiff button left. Steiff Pummy rabbit is in very good vintage condition, very clean too! The satin bow was added by me.

Old Steiff Pummy rabbit makes a fine Easter gift, or Easter decoration, or would be a charming addition to your shabby cottage chic vintage toy collection!
