online Antique pouring pot with long dovetail jointed handle.

French hand made in the mid to late 1800s, a real rustic naive made piece with real charm and character.

The handle is superbly made and attatched with five copper rivets. There is no movement and is still very secure.

The base is formed from a single sheet of copper and fabricated around and over a thin iron rim to give added strength.

The interior has a very good tin lining and is perfectly functional.

Please not that this is intended when not in use to be hung from the loop at the end of the handle. It does not balance unless it is full of liquid on its base.

This is a great display item that would add real charm and character to any kitchen setting, a real rare find.
