It is made with a diamond pattern worked with bands separating the diamonds. This is made into one large piece and is not set in individuals blocks. That will preserve the afghan without worries of it coming apart. This is made of acrylic thread. The washing instructions are warm water machine wash and low temperature machine dry.

I always work a very substantial border edging made of many rows to ensure the shape of the afghan will always remain in place and will not get stretched out of original online condition.
