Vintage WWII era PAL-35 US Navy Mk1 utility online knife, military equipment, sheath knife marked U.S.N. wooden pommel with repair

Vintage WWII era PAL-35 US Navy Mk1 utility knife, military equipment, sheath knife marked USN on sheath on tang. Most of the parkerized finish is still present and it has a nice edge that hasn't been sharpened too many times. I believe the sheath is original. The stacked leather handles are good with just a few very small gaps at the bakelite spacers, the pommel is the less common wooden version. These knives were made by the PAL Co. who bought the Remington Arms knife line in the late 1930's and then made these knives under contract to the United States Navy. The blade measures 5" long and the overall length is 9 13/16". This is a nice knife. online
