Such a soft and lovely antique French cretonne - I love this large scale floral print! This textile is heavyweight cretonne cotton (it has a thin warp, and a thick weft) and the ground tone is a beautiful shade of khaki - sort of an olive tone, with a bit of brown - which contrasts beautifully with the large floral print! The flowers are in shades of a beautiful tomato red with some cream, beige, and a bit of eggplant with tiny hints of pale blue here and there. Really beautiful colors and print!! This beautiful material would be lovely for so many uses - deconstruct it and use for pillows, small upholstery projects, or any interior decor!

MEASUREMENTS: This pretty cretonne measures approximately 29 inches wide by approximately 66 inches long - this textile is a bit oddly shaped, so I took the measurement across the very top for the width and down the right side for the length (you can see the left side has a bit more length, approximately 6 more inches, on that side)!

CONDITION: This textile is in as found, unwashed condition for collectors, but can be hand washed and hung to dry! All edges on this fabric are unhemmed and online there is a seam running the length. There are a couple of tears (see photos for details), but otherwise this fabric is lovely! Condition reflected in the price. This textile is not perfect, but it's perfectly wonderful for anyone that doesn't mind the signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful antique textiles!
