Included in the box set are The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. No online handwriting in these books what-so-ever. Three of the four books appear unread, with unbroken spines.

See the photos to evaluate for yourself. Some minor edge, corner and shelf wear on this set. Nothing more than what would be expected from a vintage paperback book set. Original gold cardboard slipcase is in pretty good vintage condition too. The book spines have some misc scuffs and points of damage, as they are the only part exposed when inside the slipcase. Please see the photos.

All printings are May 1978 - a matching set.
