Original c. 1940's - 50's advertising sign/poster - Long Island Oysters - UNUSED - approx. 21” x 11” - the oyster industry on Long Island, New York was long and legendary with a bounty of the delicious gifts from the seas pleasing the palates of gregarious gourmands the nation wide for decades - this wonderful mid-century illustrated lithographed colorful paper sign/poster was printed by the Long Island Oyster Growers and would be hanging wherever the yummy bivalves were purveyed reminding people of the potential health benefits as well as potential benefits to the eaters libido! Some mild wear from storage (mostly at edges in whitespace) but overall very nice and would look great framed or as-is. FREE DOMESTIC FIRST CLASS SHIPPING.
