Pair of online Classic Foundry Worker Cast Copper Bookends

This pair of bookends have no makers marks. They are made of solid copper and the pair weighs 10 pounds, 14 ounces. I believe that they were made in the 1930's and could be a online W.P.A. sponsored project. The bookends are identical to each other and feature a foundry worker pouring molten metal into a mold. Each bookend measures 6 1/2 inches tall, 5 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep and is heavy enough to be used as a doorstop. The pieces are in excellent condition and have new felt on the bottoms.
