FAO Schwartz vintage Wooden so-called “Fort Cherokee” Western Frontier Fort from 1964. Condition is mint. Very rare to find a 1960's FAO Schwartz miniature play fort designed for Britains miniature “2 to 3” American western territory soldier and native replicas. Dimensions of fort are: 17” on two sides and 15” on two sides, 8” tall from the ground to the jagged top walls. This set is complete, comes with 2 American flags, one on a online rooftop, the other a top a floor stand; 4 walls, 4 parapet floors for access to fort top shooting positions, 3 ladders to get to those protected and perched/blinded sharpshooter spots (2 ladders 5” tall and 1 ladder 3.5” tall to reach the topmost perch in the tower without a roof; 3 domed four corner roofs (with signs of sap frozen some 50 or so years ago as the wood dried out to its present condition); 3 fort corner cabin shooting blinds and 1 castle style unroofed shooting area with turrets. The BRITAINS HERALD Cavalry and Indians are not included. RARE!.
