Works great. I modified this myself. The screen has several levels of brightness you can access using the contrast wheel. You can also press the contrast wheel to change the color palate. There are 36 different color changes you can choose to have the screen be. The shell and lens are original to the Gameboy so there is some wear on it. Lens has some scratches from normal wear but they have absolutely no effect on gameplay. The battery cover is third party.
