The fiber used for this hat is by my favorite indie dyer based in Texas. I love the online deep saturation of this dark & moody blue, making it altogether the perfect autumnal/winter accessory color.
This hat is "double knit" which means it was worked up by holding two pieces of fiber together. The brim is slightly adjustable and has some bulk to it. On the other hand, the body of the hat has more movement to it so the wearer has the option of a fitted or slouchy look. This simple "watch cap" pattern was the perfect medium weight fiber for showcasing the fiber quality & color. The yarn is 100% merino wool and will certainly keep one cozy in extra cold temperatures.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash with a mild detergent (such as Woolite), squeeze the excess water (never twist), shape, and lay flat to dry. Superwash wool can be put in the washing machine if the item is turned inside out and put in the most gentle of cycles.**Pro-tip: Use a garment bag.** Lay flat to dry. Nevertheless, I always recommend hand washing for high quality knit items.
