It amazes me that something this delicate can survive unscathed for almost 150 years.
But here's the proof.
This cup and saucer is hand painted and signed by Angelo Delft and sons. It includes scenes from a sailing ship, a windmill, a seaside home, a buoy, and other seaside scenes, very artistically rendered.
The cup is ruffled with a wide mouth and the saucer is embossed.

This is a wonderful piece for a seaside cottage or home, perfect for a cabinet collection.
