This is a unique, one of a kind online, wool and silk blend scarf that has been hand dyed using eucalyptus leaves foraged locally from the Australian bush. No nasty chemicals, just the power and hidden beauty of the leaves.

~~~The Design and Process ~~~

Eucalyptus leaves were gently simmered to release the natural dye and the scarf was folded and tied, then immersed in the dye bath for several hours to absorb the colour. It was hand dyed in Canberra, Australia using native eucalyptus leaves. The background colour has some yellow tones and the dye has produced earthy tones of red, orange and pink.

The scarf is 35cm wide x 180cm long. Large enough to keep you cosy and warm in winter or wear draped like a shawl and has frayed ends.

No two scarves are the same and each is a unique piece of art.

- 80% wool and 20% silk blend which warm and super soft.
