Ancient Chinese Han Dynasty bowl decorated with calligraphic designs inscribed through the creamy white slip that is covering the hand-thrown terra-cotta body. Raised foot and curved neck.
Probably made for burial or mortuary use. Circa 206 BC - 220 AD

CONDITION : Excellent ancient condition. Overall wear and a few small chips to top rim. Possible restoration to the outter neck rim above the calligraphic design on one side (see photos). No cracks or hairlines.
