Mid Century Wood Carving of an elegant Women Statue. Some similar designs are 6-15 inches tall. This is a rare woman carved in hard wood statue that is 17 1/2” tall. One imperfection on the back of head where maker missed staining but blemish is only visible if you're standing behind her and looking down on top of her head. (see picture) Otherwise this exquisite piece of art is in very good to excellent condition. We researched the signed online “A” on the bottom of statue but did not find history on the artist's mark. It could be one of the first sculptures of its kind but not sure. This beautiful lady has been safely displayed in a smoke free home. Thank you for your interest.
