Twelve years ago I picked up some tools and taught myself to work with leather. When I did this I stumbled on something amazing - the ability to personalize any leather item with an inscription, coordinates, or a custom image. I love making custom leather pieces and I know you'll love them, too! All the pieces in my shop are my original designs, each made completely by hand. Because I do the inscriptions on each piece myself, by hand, it gives my work a rustic, handmade, quality that you won't find anywhere else. This wallet is in the "Smokey" pattern - one of my very first patterns - and it is branded with an inscription of your choosing on the inside fold of the wallet, and initials of your choice on the outside. It's a classic mens trifold style wallet and is dyed a beautiful antique black. The color will darken some as the wallet ages and develops its own patina.
I start with a thick leather tooling leather and cut, brand and dye it by hand. I finish with a protective coat, and hand stitch the edge.
DIMENSIONS: 3-3/8" x 4-1/2" and has six card slots including one clear ID pocket and a long slot for currency along the back of the wallet
COLOR: This wallet is antique black, which is a black wash applied over the tan of the leather, allowing some of it to show through. It is a rustic black-brown color. Because leather is a natural material each hide takes the dye slightly differently so some variation is expected.
CUSTOM INSCRIPTION: This wallet can include up to 200 characters including spaces and punctuation for the secret inscription and up to 5 characters for the monogram. To customize this piece just purchase the existing online listing and put the inscription in the "NOTES TO SELLER" section when you check out. We will custom make the wallet for you! .
