Antique Decorative Silver Debutant Lidded Face online Powder Container

This silver plated face powder container is fashioned in the shape of a young lady in an elaborate gown and hairdo. Although it is meant to house face powder, it would also make a nice pin dish for rings or notions. The base is engraved "LA Prom "26" and the underside of the lid is marked "Copyright U.S.A." The engraving makes me believe that this was a memento online of a prom night back in 1926. The piece is probably made of spelter (white metal). The silver plate is in excellent condition.
