Product code: Online Vintage Kitschy Styrofoam Duck Felt Ornament Lenci? 50's 60's?
While clearing out the clutter, my husband came across this duck. He had put it away many years ago (like over 50). It was given to him by a grandparent while visiting them in Denmark. We do not know anything else about this item. He is finally letting go of some of his stuff. I tried to do some research on it but did not find anything. My husband said that it was lighter in color than now (he believes it was a white or off white. He is holding a blue and white plaid flag. The only thing I found online that had any similarities was Lenci. Some other ducks had the same tail and the quality stitching. There are wires in the feet and arms. The arms appear to be stationary. Measurements: approx. 5" from bottom of feet to top of head. The top online of the hat has a string for hanging that is why I included "ornament". As of right now, it does not stand on its own. I did not want to manipulate the feet to much with the fears of breaking them. Thank you for looking.
