I will create a custom watercolor painting on Arches watercolor paper based on a photo you submit. A house listing with multiple exterior views is beneficial so I can understand heights and placement of certain features. I usually leave about an inch white space around the painting so you have room to frame with a mat if desired. Listing is just for the painting on paper, not framed.
The painting will not have words unless you specify in the checkout section or send me a message clarifying what you want it to say. Typically, people request a last name, date range that they lived in a house, or the street address.
Paper dimensions are 11"x14", and can be either horizontal or vertical, depending on the style of house. If you prefer a larger or smaller size, please message me and we'll work it out! Paper may be warped like the pictures of this listing show. Water based paints sometimes make the paper warp when drying. The paper I use has a black edge along the exterior.
I'll edit certain things out of an image or creatively crop it if there is a tree or fence in the way or some similar obstruction. Let me know if there is anything in the picture that must show up in the final painting, and I'll do my best to incorporate it.
I work full time, so thank you for your patience in receiving your custom artwork. It could take one or two weeks for me to complete a piece and ship to you. I online will communicate with you if lead times are extended. Your painting will be packaged in a plastic sleeve and shipped in a paperboard mailer so it arrives safely.
