This is an original linoleum cut titled 'Spring in the slough'

The spring sun rises in Alaska, when there is still plenty of snow on the ground. Emerging out of winter it is a time, when we feel the sun's radiance on our faces and souls –like at no other time of the year. Especially in calm sloughs, the side-channels from a feeding a river, are places where one can bask in the sun.
