Vintage salt box or salt cellar with wood lid and fruit plum motive. It has beautiful shape, nice motive and a lid that has the patina of old wood. What's not to like? It's a lovely addition to a country or farmhouse style kitchen as well as in a modern. It can stand or hang. It does shows age.

You could even use it on a desk as a pen holder or to keep things organized.

It's in good vintage condition. There are however two cracks, one on each side. There are small online chips along the bottom edge. The lid is just beautiful with the touch of many hands through the years. Please take a look at the photos.
