Stunning wall art for house or garden.
I don't think this is a traditional design.But it's such a great design,I had to do it.
Measures 21 1/4" H x 21 1/2" "W across the middle. The color changes depending how the light hits it.
Hand-crafted from heavy 16 gauge steel. Hanger on back.
Cut with an Oxy- propane torch.
Then the edges that can be reached are smoothed with a angle
grinder. Some may have a slight warp and are not perfectly flat due to
the intense heat used.
Some of the small inside edges may not perfectly smooth but are not sharp .
Coated with a special copper raku finish. Then coated with a
special UV, water, acid proof coating.
If hung outdoors it will need online to sprayed with Krylon clear or
Clear Rustoleum once a year depending where you live
All my knot designs come from The Book of Kells , Lindisfarne
Gospels or from old Celtic carvings. Sometimes I name or
number them to keep track but Celtic knots were never named
except for the ones carved on stones where they where found.
I have been making Celtic knots since the late 60's out of every
conceivable material from silver to stone and have been in many
Irish galleries and gift shops.
