Weller Pottery Deco Buttress Cream Pedestal Vase -Three Supports with Pink Flowers Green Leaves- online Antique -Matte Ivory with Crazing-BEAUTIFUL

This Deco Style Vase is a knockout. It is marked Weller on the Base. It is very subtle and only legible in certain light angles.

This creamy ivory coloured buttress vase has a smooth online matte glaze and pretty pink and green embellishments. The simple flower and leaf motif runs around the top of the bowl. There is significant crazing in the surface which adds to the overall charm of this piece.

I picture this as a vanity piece in an art deco or art nouveau boudoir. I am estimating the age to be approximately 100 years old. Based on the signature on the base it was produced in Ohio between the years of 1900-1925 - it is faint but I can clearly see the "Weller Incised Block Mark"

It stands about 6.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches across.

This pedestal vase with buttresses is undamaged. There are some wear marks on the body of the vase but I rate it as near perfect given its age. The little character marks seem to be very old or even original. There are several pinpoint pricks in the glaze which I believe to be firing flaws. Buyer should be aware of these but I do not count them as flaws.
