This beautiful compact is made by Lilly Dashe and it's clearly marked on the back. I believe it dates to the 1950s or 1960s.

Lilly Dashe was a milliner or hat maker back in the day. She branched out into compacts, and this one is very desirable among collectors and hard to find.

It's made of plastic to look like ivory and so called ivorene. The nice thing about plastic is no corrosion.

On the front you see the loving couple surrounded by foliage. I find no chips or cracks here. Above the couple is the LD logo.

On the back it is marked Lilly Dashe. The powder is called Translucent Finish. The back looks good to me, no major chips or cracks.

The sides of the compact and in good shape as well.

Inside the mirror has some spots from age, but no cracks. The powder is there, but no puff.

It opens and shuts well. I see one flake of plastic missing on the part you press to open it. I try to show this in the pictures. It's a small bit, but I try to notice everything.

This compact measure 3 inches from hinge back to edge and almost 3 inches across, more like 2.75.
