This incredible box was made by my 13 year old daughter. She ha been taking woodshop in middle school. It was a pleasure watching her design and make this box. I think she did a great job. She'd be honored to ship this functional piece of art to your home.
The box was made from sapele and maple woods. It can slide open from either side. The drawer fronts have been engraved with two different intricate patterns. If you want to change the look of the box, simply turn it around so that the other side is facing forward.
The box measures 9.5” wide by 3.75” tall by 3.25” deep. It has one large drawer. The drawer is lined with a brilliant red suede to protect whatever valuables you wish to store inside.
The box has been sanded to a silky smooth finish that begs to be touched. It was buffed with finishing wax.
