Product code: L.E. Smith #4710 Flared Shell Vase - Leaf Vase - Hard to Find Vintage Pebbled online Vase

Here's a wonderful L.E. Smith #4710 Flared Shell Vase that I picked up last weekend just outside Mt. Pleasant, PA. It has a pebble finish and measures about 6 inches high and about 9 inches across. Tom Felt notes that it was made from a privately owned mold that was first leased to Imperial Glass in the 1970s where it was used in their Aurora Jewels line. L.E. Smith acquired the mold in 1980 and made this vase in various colors. I'm not sure what this particular color was called, but it may be "peach." A side by side comparison with the Imperial version is shown in the last photo. The Imperial version is also available for sale in my shop. It is in excellent condition, free from any chips or cracks.

Shipping Policy

I do combine shipping when possible for smaller items and refund shipping overages if they're over $1.50. Note, many large items cannot be combined into one box and must be shipped separately to give them the best chance of making their way to you safely. I'm not trying to make money off of shipping charges, and online will do my best to provide you with the lowest possible cost. I strive to ship items no later than the following business day. Items are generally shipped USPS priority mail which includes $50 insurance. All items are carefully packaged. If an item is damaged during shipping, please take pictures, save all packing materials, and let me know immediately so a claim can be filed with the shipper. The onus of filing the claim will fall upon the buyer. The post office has been requesting that damaged items and associated packing materials be brought in for inspection, and it is not possible for me, as the shipper, to do so. If you prefer an alternate shipping method please send me a message to discuss options.

Sometimes Priority Mail shipping is cost prohibitive (especially for those on the West Coast). Send me a message and we'll see if Flat Rate shipping is possible. Prices for this service is generally about $21 for a “Large” box and about $15.00 for a “Medium” box. Note that USPS Flat Rate boxes aren't that big, so this might not be an option when purchasing larger items.

Very Important Info About Returns/Refunds

All items are described as accurately as possible, and I do my best to note any damage. Most of my items are twenty or more years old and may show wear consistent with age/use. I try to provide many detailed pictures which serve as part of the description, and I encourage you to ask any questions prior to purchase. I do not accept returns, and generally do not provide refunds. But there are occasionally exceptions. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason please reach out right away so that we can try to reach an amicable solution, I want you to be happy with and enjoy your purchase!

General

I enjoy finding vintage pieces and moving them along to new homes. I'm an easy going person and do this more as a hobby than a business, I like researching these old items to find their origins/history. If you want to discuss any items listed, tell me I'm way off base on my pricing, wrong on my description, or whatever convo me!
