I am primarily a maker of dog car seats. The car seat business leaves me with tons of small pieces of mostly dog-themed fabric. The design for this style of bed was inspired by my desire to put this fabric to good use. Each bed is a unique creation. No two beds are exactly alike.


When I design a dog bed, I try to see it from a dog's perspective. Style always comes second to comfort and function. This bed has high sides to create the “nest-feel” that small dogs tend to seek. The bottom of the bed is made with 1-inch foam topped with a memory foam pad. The sides are filled with a mixture of loose, nonclumping fiberfill and stuffing. The bed is covered in a soft cotton fabric. (Many dog beds are covered in sturdy fabrics like canvas or outdoor/upholstery material for durability; however, I want my dog to sleep on a bed as comfortable as the one I sleep on, and I certainly don't sleep on canvas sheets.) The bed is well made with double-stitched seams and should hold up well to ordinary wear and the occasional trip through the washing machine.


*This bed is not recommended for dogs with a tendency to chew bedding. If your pup is a gnawer, contact me to order a bed made from a sturdier fabric.


Three sizes are available:

Extra-Small/Teacup
The extra-small bed has a 14 inch diameter base and is recommended for dogs weighing 5 pounds or less. The sides are approximately 6 inches tall.

Small
The small bed has a 16 inch diameter base and is recommended for dogs weighing 5-9 pounds. The sides are approximately 6.5 inches tall.

Medium
The medium bed has an 18 inch diameter base and is recommended for dogs weighing 10-15 pounds. The sides are approximately 7 inches.
