online The pattern Along For The Ride is 23 inches by 35 inches. It is drawn by hand with black sharpie on primitive linen. This pattern has at least a 4 inch border around the design to allow for placing on your rug hooking frame. It is finished with a zig zag stitch to prevent fraying and is created in a smoke free environment. A color photo of the finished rug is enclosed with the pattern to aid in color planning. This pattern on Linen does NOT include wool for hooking.
I hooked this design using 8 and 8.5 cut wool strips. I used deep, rich color for the guinea hen, pig and flowers; also wools with lots of texture.
