Sessions Clocks were online made in Connecticut USA in the lst half of the 20th century. According to Wikipedia between 1903 and 1933 Sessions produced 52 models of mechanical clocks, ranging from Advertisers, large and small clocks with logos of various businesses, to wall, or regulator clocks, and shelf or mantel clocks, designed for the home. Many of the Session clocks from this period are prized by collectors.
The case on this Sessions Mantle Clock is 20 inches long and 9.5 inches high, has a mahogany finish with a faux wood inlay and raised metal black-coloured numerals. The case is in very good condition and the inside mechanism also looks solid. It has an 8-day Westminster quarter-hour chime movement. When purchased we were told it works, but we have no key for it. One would have to be purchased.
We expect that this clock may need minor tuning and cleaning. Price is reflected accordingly.
