Limited Edition Print of an original watercolour with collage. On a walk along the waterside at Walberswick in Suffolk I snapped various photos of boats and fishing paraphernalia. Back in the studio, this view caught my eye; beside a wooden ramp, a tangle of brightly coloured fishing nets, big metal linked chains, ropes with little daisies peeping through here and there, growing between the areas of sand. Painted in watercolour and gouache I used real threads and netting as collage, this picture is full of interest and colour. Perfect for anyone who loves the coast!

Printing should only take a few days but please allow up to 1 week before dispatch, if you have any queries about this, just get in touch. (Check your sizes carefully; the print may be smaller than the original painting)

Please note that it is usual to allow a space of 1-2 cm between mount (mat) and print when framing, so this, in addition to mount and frame width should be taken into account when measuring a space on your wall. To be safe, you should allow at least an extra 10cm (or 4 inches) online wall space all around for when you have it framed.

HOW IS IT MADE?

The original watercolour was professionally scanned by a local family run print shop with exceptionally high standards. After checking and colour matching it was giclee printed onto Magiclee Verona Rag 300, a 100% Cotton Fine Art Paper.
