Kaffe online quilt

This quilt is the perfect size for a lap quilt, a baby quilt or a toddler quilt. It can also be used as a wheelchair quilt. It's 58" x 48". The colors are a beautiful pink, aqua, lavender and pale blue.

The quilt is made featuring Kaffe Fassett online material. The pattern is called "Midnight Diamonds" from the Kaffe Fassett book "Quilts in Burano". I have also seen the pattern called 'bordered diamonds'. It is a fairly difficult pattern to sew because the edges of the diamonds are cut against the grain making the fabric stretch if you are not careful.

I pieced the quilt and also quilted it. The quilt design is my own invention. It is a lovely quilt that is very soft and colorful.
