"The Life Aquatic with online Steve Zissou" 2004 movie starring Bill Murray as a Cousteau type ocean explorer wore this watch. Great movie! The back case has a locking ring that screws the back plate on a wide rubber washer instead of a thin gasket, to provide superior pressure protection. The crystal is 3mm thick plexiglass, designed to be more water resistant under pressure. The crown is on a "wobbly" gear to protect the threads and shock to the movement. The 31J auto movement keeps excellent time. Included 2 straps, a new rubber strap and a NATO double pass strap with some wear, washed with plenty of life.
