I've made quilted bags for myself and friends and family for years, and over time I've fine-tuned the process and style to get them just right. They are sturdy and fun, incorporating interesting fabric combinations in colors that pop in a boho style. They are fully lined, have pockets inside and out, and have straps that work for shoulder bags or crossbody. And they are large enough for essentials, but not so big they overpower. We've loved them, so I thought I'd offer them in the shop to see how you like them!
For each bag I use 100% cotton fabric, batting and thread, and have developed a online quilting technique that layers very thin strips of fabric in a manner that gives the bag added body and texture. This bag is in rich and gorgeous lavender/mauve and creamy ivory batiks. The bag measures 15 inches in width and the body is 14 inches deep. It can be machine washed and dried - just like a quilt!
As with all offerings in my shop, this was designed and hand made with care by me in my smoke-free shop.
