Fabulous vintage handmade log cabin quilt expertly online crafted with darker and lighter colored fabrics to give a diamond pattern effect. This quilt is made from strips of a variety of solid and print fabrics including wool, satin, velvet. I envision fabric swatches from coats, ties, dresses and gowns. This jewel tone log cabin quilt pattern is one of my all-time favorites. The back is a burgundy fabric with hand tied wool thread. Some of the fabrics have frayed, particularly the silks and satins, but it is still in amazing, usable shape.
