Johannes Hedegaard (1915-1999) was a Danish sculptor.

Johannes Hedegaard is educated at Royal Copenhagen in 1935. At Royal Copenhagen young Johannes received one of the best educations in his field. Johannes Hedegaard became known for his naturalistic but simplistic style.

The beautiful women's busts are the most famous works by Johannes Hedegaard. The busts online were made in collaboration with the Danish faience factory Aluminia. The busts are from the 1940s and are unique in their combination of the raw material as a surface for one part of the bust and a beautiful colorful glaze for another part of the bust.
