Solid Silver Handcrafted Unusual Brooch online

A curious, unusual silver brooch made with all the bits and bobs of silver that have been left over from other pieces I've made.

It is truly a one of a kind design, never to be repeated. It weighs 10.3g and is hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office.

My Inspiration.......
I love the texture and shapes found in nature, which is why I use them to inspire my jewellery designs; from pebble beaches to bark on a tree and the textures found in weathered stone. I was always coming home from family holidays with buckets of shells and pebbles. I still do today to be online honest. I decorate my workshop with them so that I'm surrounded by inspiration.
I also love the nature of silver, especially when I'm melting pieces together and using reticulation to create wonderful organic textures, you can never fully predict what the finished piece will look like, which is quite exciting and a very interesting process. My statement designs form in a very fluid way, I rarely plan them out before hand, they evolve as they are made which is what I love about working with silver, it's so versatile and easy to work with.
I use reticulation and oxidisation to give the silver a lovely texture and to make each piece different from the next.
All pieces are hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office where necessary and according to the regulations so you can be confident it's genuine silver.
