Wonderful set of 4 small plates made for Air Alitalia in 1970 - called the Linea 72 - for in-flight service first class. Designed by Joe Cesare Colombo (1930-1971) and Ambrogio Pozzi (1931-1997). Patented and Made in Italy. Made by Richard Giori, Milan. The plates measure 6 5/8" x 5 1/8". They may have been used for rolls, deserts, cheese crackers. These plates have been used through the years. One plate (see pic) has some little yellow (3) dogs on it. They have wear to the brown edges as would be expected with items that have been used and stacked. Love these plates. Wonderul for everyday use in your MCM kitchen! online
