A large French rustic crate, used by a grocery shop for its vegetables storage & deliveries. The crate is stamped "René Moyne Paris" in capital letters on both sides (on one online side the stamp is almost erased). Exact age unknown but at least from the mid 20 th century. It was hand crafted from wood planks, held together by lots of nails. I love its genuine look and think it could be a great accent piece in a primitive kitchen. Condition : the crate is sturdy despite some wear to the wood, and overall quite dirty from years of vegetables storage. It is sold "as is", please see photos.
