I got inspired to create these scarves when a friend gave me pieces of vintage kimono silk. I love color and the beautiful silks begged to be made into one-of-a-kind scarves. I spend hours playing with the online silk pieces to design scarves that showcase the integrity of the fabrics. Then, I lovingly sew them on my mother's 1942 Singer sewing machine.
