FACT AND FICTION:
FACT: I was haunting Centralia, WA., one of my favorite places for vintage shopping, and I came across these wonderful old canvas money bags that were stamped for coin deposits. Then, I found these amazing little linen tea napkins with prissy ladies eating apples or drinking martinis. I had so much fun adding my vintage trims, making them into cross-body bags. The napkins became pockets, and this bag has black lace detail and white sateen disc trim that dangles, reminding me of Shaking Aspen Trees.
The bags have been deconstructed, then totally rebuilt with their trims, laundered and lightly bleached .They show wear and may have marks that show their age.....all charming, I assure you. You will be complimented on their uniqueness.

Cross body nylon strap with embellished trim 42" L . On an average person top of bag will strike top of hip.
FICTION: Janet's bank robbing days were over, but she still had some evidence in the back of the closet, and she online couldn't bear to throw away memories of the best day of her life, so she recycled the bags into purses. It was her little secret.
