Stunning Vintage 1970s Aubergine Purple, Blue and online Gold Embroidered and Sequin Indian Shawl

Really beautiful vintage Indian hand embroidered, sequin organza shawl in a fabulous dark aubergine and blue.

The colour of this shawl is gorgeous dark aubergine purple and is hand embroidered with exquisite gold metallic thread embroidery, and blue sequins.

The shawl is crafted in a floaty sheer organza (synthetic) type fabric.

The shawl has hand sewn sequins and embroidery throughout. The designs include beautiful floral designs and botanical and abstract motifs.

At the edges of the shawl is a glittery ribbon trim in blue with blue and gold fringing.

This is a handmade, vintage unique item. Very bling and stunning! Being a sheer chiffon type fabric it moves beautifully when worn. It is also a nice large size.

The shawl is very flattering and a real classic vintage item and looks stunning worn as a shawl over a dress by day or in the evening,, worn as a scarf, a glamorous beach cover up, a sarong or used as a decorative drape or throw in the home.

Aftercare:
In order to preserve the condition of this beautiful vintage shawl, this piece should be very gently hand washed separately in cold water using mild detergent and dried flat. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron (silk setting with a sheet between iron and shawl). Handle gently and take care with jewellery and rough surfaces. Keep away from fire and open flames.
