Beautiful French vintage Christofle 'coffret' with small silver plated fork and spoon and its original white box set in good to very good vintage condition.

Very collectible and desirable French silver plated flatware set by the renowned Christofle founded in 1830. This appears to be the vendome coquille pattern. Ideal for a gift for a newborn baby or similar special occasion. Both fork and spoon appear unused and have a very light patina overall - could be polished further or professionally cleaned however this item is being online sold as found. The box is intact in overall good condition however there is a small yellow, possibly age, stain on the inside cover and some general marks on the exterior to be expected with age. The box has a crown logo with OC and scales and appears to be its original box.

Both silver plated pieces are stamped as follows:

Christofle balance (scales) and name in rectangular stamp
OC Minerva (horse head) and France in rectangular stamp

Stamp suggests this item dates from 1935 onwards and before mid 1980's.
