One of 14 designs for the Lost Summer collection, Anemones is inspired by the many textures of a tide pool as the water reveals all the different living creatures against the rocks. With loose abstractions on sea anemone shapes online, rocks, shells, and water the design features more a more subdued palette of deep teals, navy, grey, peach and red rock. The 36x36 inch size creates more volume for loose wrapping around the neck or a larger statement head scarf. 

Printed on lightweight 100% silk habotai with low water-use reactive dyes. Soft, luxurious, and non-fading. Finished with a machine rolled baby hem for durability and delicacy.

This scarf was printed and sewn by a small team in Canada. The silk was made in a factory with Standard 100 OEKO-TEX certification for human-ecological impact and safe working conditions.

The Lost Summer Collection - Limited Edition Silk Scarves - Coastal Abstractions and Shoreline Fragments from the Summer We Couldn't Quite Have. Designed during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020, Lost Summer eludes to my fractured daydreams and hopes for summer at the beach that wasn't able to happen as planned. The coastal theme runs throughout the combination of abstract paintings and playful illustrations, conveying the movement of the sea, the curiosity of beach combing, the highs and lows of emotion during isolation, and the softy changing seasons. 10% of the profits from the Lost Summer collection will be donated to the Ocean Conservancy, an environmental advocacy group working to preserve and protect our oceans and waterways.
