Overview: Up for sale is a fantastic woodblock print, "Bright Day" by modernist Japanese printer, Katsuyuki Nishijima. Nishijima's prints are instantly recognizable, generally focusing on traditional Japanese architectural designs and scenes, very much in the mold of Clifton Karhu. This is no exception, showing a traditional Japanese tea house. It is signed in pencil at lower right and titled (in Japanese) at lower center. Print is unframed, but matted. It is taped to the back of the matting. Should be removable if desired. Condition: The print is in very good condition. Only flaw is a small blemish at lower right. Matting is in excellent condition. Measurements: online Print measures 13 inches wide by 10 inches high. Matting measures 15.25 inches wide x 12.5 inches high.
