The Canon AV-1 35mm film camera is the lightest SLR camera in Canon's A-line of camera bodies. Canon made a bit of a design change in this body when they elected to go for an “aperture priority” approach. Simply set your aperture to the desired value on your lens, and the electronics in the camera automatically calculate the shutter speed to obtain a correct exposure. The lightweight body and ease of use make this a great film camera for anyone who wants to make a habit of carrying a camera at all times. The camera does have a manual setting for 1/60th of a second, however, all other shutter speeds are calculated automatically with no fully-manual function. Two notable issues with this example: 1. The lever on the film rewind knob is missing. The film can still be rewound into the canister, but will online be need to twist it with your fingers. 2. The cover for the optional power winder is missing. Does not affect the camera function. See photos. Note: minifig is not included.
