online Very cool vintage jiggar/corkscrew wine opener. The indentation of the mouth serves as the bottle cap opener. The hat comes off revealing the corkscrew. Paint loss on the facial features and small dent on the body of the jiggar as seen in the photos. There is some loosening where the jiggar attaches to the head. I had my mechanic boyfriend look at this and does not appear to be any way to tighten that and I'm sure is a result of just being used and that connection loosened. Still very intact and functional. There is some corrosion noted on the corkscrew as well as seen in the photos. However, this little gadget is truly a marvel in it's design and function and whimsical appearance. Again, they just don't make things like they used to.
