online This vintage damascene brooch is large and with the dangle measures 3 3/8 inches long and 2 inches across. It is also exceptionally beautiful with ornate filigree gold tone borders, an elegant five leaf flower in gold and silver inlay on the top portion, and a gold four leaf clover on the dangle. Surprisingly, the brooch is marked Made In West Germany on the back and has a foil tag that has Asian characters on one side and the French 'C'est Bien' on the other. Dating from c. 1950's - 60's, the beautiful brooch has a rollover safety catch, does not appear to have ever been worn, and is in excellent condition.
