Antique Pottery Flint Enamel Book Flask, Stoneware, Bennington Glazed online

This is a handsome half-pint flask online in the form of a book, covered in Rockingham glaze. It is molded with a rose on each cover within incised scroll devices and surrounded by fisheye tail borders. There are a few small marks from the mold but no damage or repairs. It measures 3 1/4" wide by 5" tall by 1 1/2" thick. These flasks were made in the United States, but I believe this to be English in origin, c. 1850.
